In a scary incident, 35 children studying in primary in government primary school number four in Bagasara town of Amreli district were hospitalized after they were stung by honey bees on Wednesday evening. The children were sitting in a class and were about to leave for home when a swarm of bees attacked them. The bees had built hives in two trees in the school campus. The scared children tried to evade the bees but were helpless. They were soon rushed to private and government hospitals. Sources said that four children Diwan Jadav, Mamata Pandya, Darshan Jadav and Yuvraj Gohil were referred to a hospital in Amreli for advanced treatment. The bee attacks on people across Saurashtra, especially in coastal parts, have become a serious issue.
