A Delta Airline plane made an emergency landing Thursday morning at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport after experiencing engine problems. No one on board was injured, officials said. Delta Airlines Flight 1672, from Buffalo to Atlanta, had 174 passengers and five crew members on board. According to the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, everyone got off the plane safely once it landed without incident. The airline stated there was a possible issue with one of the plane's two engines. According to the NFTA, it was the right engine and the incident happened 12 to 14 minutes into the flight. The plane turned around and landed without incident. Passengers said they heard a loud boom. "When heard that sound, I thought we were going down," said Heather Radzikowski, of Buffalo. "After that pop, there were other loud noises going on." "I could tell as soon as we took off. I could hear the bang and we kept going back and forth, back and forth, and we weren't climbing because we only had one engine working. It was pretty obvious that something was wrong," said passenger Marty Berardi. According to Delta, maintenance technicians are evaluating the plane. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
