Two more lab-confirmed cases of the measles has been discovered in the city bringing the total in the city to eight since January, Toronto Public Health said Saturday. The latest people diagnosed are a pair of unidentified adults. One person had no recent travel history and their vaccination history is unknown. No details were available from public health officials about the second person. Of the seven cases currently identified, two are children under the age of two-years-old and five are adults. All of the people are from separate families. "We have been investigating the cases and exploring potential links, however, to date there is still no confirmed connection between these cases," public health spokesman Lenore Bromley said in an e-mail to the Toronto Sun. Public health is asking people to ensure their vaccinations are up-to-date. Two doses of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine provides full protection to over 95% of people. The vaccine is free of charge.
